What is Atri by Branch²?
Atri is early-warning intelligence for small and medium-sized businesses. It traces distant shocks — such as an insolvency filing against a company you depend on, an enforcement order naming a director, an FX move, a freight disruption or a weather advisory — inward to what your business depends on, and warns you early in plain English. It is an operational early-warning tool, not investment advice.
Who is Atri for?
Atri is built for SMEs in the UK, India and the US that depend on specific companies and people — suppliers, customers, lenders, landlords, utilities, hauliers and regulators, and the directors and officers behind them — and on specific inputs, currencies and trade routes. You declare a watchlist of your real dependencies, and Atri stays silent unless a cascade reaches one of them.
Where does Atri's data come from?
Atri uses filing-grade government and open sources — for example The London Gazette, Companies House, IBBI insolvency announcements and SEC filings — alongside reference market signals such as FX fixings and freight and commodity indices. Every claim is shown with its source, its evidence strength and a link to the original record.
How does Atri decide what to show me?
Atri ingests events, resolves the real entities involved, triages risk and significance, traces the cascade step by step, then surfaces a finding only if a credible, evidenced chain reaches an item on your watchlist. Signals weaker than government or market data are capped, rendered last, and never alert on their own.
Is Atri investment advice or a stock-tip service?
No. Atri is an operational early-warning tool for protecting what a business depends on. It does not offer trades, alpha, stock tips or investment advice.
Does Atri help find alternative suppliers?
Yes. When a supplier is at risk, Atri surfaces active, register-verified alternatives matched by UK SIC industry classification and active-register status, and is explicit about what is already on file versus what you still need to verify, such as spare capacity, lead time and pricing.
Can Atri watch people, not just companies?
Yes. You can watch named people — directors and officers on the public register — alongside companies, and Atri shows you when a story reaches you through one of them, citing the register record for every link. Today that reach is shown on the story itself; alerting on people is not live yet. Atri never asserts a connection you have not confirmed.
