How Atri traces a shock inward
From a filing on a public register to a warning that reaches your business — and why silence is the default.
- Ingest. News, company filings and government feeds are pulled on a schedule, deduplicated by headline and by URL, and stored. A source that fails is skipped quietly rather than taking the run down with it.
- Detect the event. Each item is read for what actually happened — the type of event, a short summary, how urgent it is, and how confident the classification is.
- Resolve the entities. Names in the story are matched to real companies and people on public registers. A hard identifier wins outright; an ambiguous name is left unresolved rather than guessed.
- Trace the cascade. The chain is followed outward step by step — what this causes, and what that causes in turn — with each step stated separately so you can see where the reasoning thins out.
- Score the impact. A deterministic calculation blends company financial health, the macro picture and structural signals into a single 0-100 figure, so two stories can be compared on the same scale.
- Check it reaches you. A finding is surfaced only when the chain reaches something you have actually put on your watchlist. If it does not reach you, Atri stays silent.
- Show the evidence. Every claim carries its source, its evidence strength and a link to the original record, so you can check the reasoning rather than take it on trust.
- Track what happened. Calls are recorded with their dates and outcomes — hits, misses and still-pending alike — so the record can be checked rather than asserted.
